The journey · Self → Team → System

I find my light. We grow the light. We light the way.

When people know their strengths and listen deeply (Spark), they can build trust and act together (Flame) and then guide others to grow (Lighthouse). Over time, this creates communities and workplaces where every voice is heard, and change is shared.

Movement one · Self

Spark

Finding my light

3–5 day workshop4 weeks of practice

Our practices

  • Discover strengths and values
  • Practise deep listening in pairs
  • Reflect and journal

What emerges

People know their strengths and listen to understand.

How it connects

Belbin Team Roles shows each person the strengths they bring, confirmed by colleagues. Deep listening opens them to others. These profiles are then used to build balanced Flame teams.

Signs of light

Every participant shares a Spark Plan with one growth goal.

What your organisation gains

People who know where they add most, and step up.

Movement two · Team

Flame

Growing the light together

5-day workshop8 weeks of practice

Our practices

  • Form balanced teams
  • Host dialogue
  • Listen to those affected
  • Try and refine a shared project

What emerges

Teams build trust and act together on a real challenge.

How it connects

Teams are formed from Belbin profiles, so every team has the roles it needs. Through dialogue, they listen to the people affected, then try and improve a solution (Theory U). Those who grow most become Lighthouses.

Signs of light

Each team shares one project and what it learnt.

What your organisation gains

Real challenges solved, and teams that trust each other and decide well.

Movement three · System

Lighthouse

Lighting the way for others

5-day workshop8 weeks of practice

Our practices

  • Learn to mentor
  • Guide new Sparks
  • Host a circle
  • Co-facilitate a Spark workshop

What emerges

People guide others and carry the work forward.

How it connects

Lighthouses use Belbin to spot strengths in new Sparks, mentor them, and host circles with skilled facilitation. The next Spark group begins, led by your own people.

Signs of light

Each Lighthouse mentors 2 Sparks and hosts 1 circle.

What your organisation gains

Its own mentors, so growth keeps going without outside trainers.

The result: people who stay, teams that deliver, and leaders grown from within.

Each movement closes with a sharing circle, and participants receive a certificate for completing the workshop, the practice, and the outcome.
